Hi there,

I’m so glad you’re here.

Welcome to my corner of the internet! I’m Ellese, an entrepreneur, writer, and creative enthusiast.

For over a decade, I’ve immersed myself in the realms of fashion and beauty, serving as press and media.

I’ve had the privilege of navigating some of the most dynamic and influential platforms in the world. From the vibrant runways of New York Fashion Week to the impactful sustainability forums at the United Nations. I’ve attended many events and launches of Ian Schrager’s hotels. The legendary man behind studio 54. I was also invited to cover backstage exclusives with top brands like Maybelline, Aveda, and Stila Cosmetics. My journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.

During my six years as a content creator with Google #teampixel and my year long collaboration with Sephora, I’ve honed my skills in digital storytelling and brand representation, paving the way for my transition into entrepreneurship.

Today, I’m the proud founder of a graphic design studio, where I empower individuals and businesses to elevate their online presence and tell their unique stories effectively. Additionally, my commitment to wellness and sustainable living has led me to curate websites dedicated to both respectfully, fostering communities focused on mindful living and conscious consumption.

On this website, however, I invite you to sit back and relax as we delve into my favorite tips for balancing a multifaceted life, discover books that have inspired my journey, explore mood boards that spark creative vision, and embark on virtual journeys through my favorite cities around the globe. Through daily musings and reflections, I offer you a glimpse into my world (past and presence) sharing industry knowledge, plus a few tales.

FAQ

I began blogging in 2013 or thereabouts. I’ve had several blogs since. This site being the newest.

I was the kid in high school doodling outfits during class. Thank you ADHD. To me, there was no other industry I dreamed of working in. So… I began weaseling my way into the highly coveted and guarded door of the fashion industry. I was accepted into Parson’s New School for their summer course where I learned how to design. I then attended college for Fashion Marketing and Management. From there I held several jobs starting in menswear production, then a personal assistant to a celebrity stylist. Before I knew it, I found an incredible mentor who taught me everything I needed to know in order to launch a successful fashion blog. I continued to climb the ranks by persistently messaging and showing up to events while living in New York City. Until one day I was on all the best PR lists, invited as press to cover world events, and receiving box after box of brand deals and samples. I continued to work my hardest to show the industry who I was and what I could do for them. It was exhilarating to navigate and grueling to juggle.

It’s funny, I saw a ton of new businesses trying to carve a name for themselves with pretty underwhelming marketing designs. Having worked with some of the best, I know what would be more effective. My desire and passion is to pass that insight on to those who are trying to make a difference in this world. Primarily curating designs for mental health, therapists, and wellness business owners.

My biggest regret? Oh geez. I had a few celebrities interested in me, I probably should have married them. Purely for the stories and extra financial cushion. No, in all honestly, along the way you run into people who’ll take advantage of your kindness and hard work. It happens. My only regret is not removing these people from my life sooner. By letting them go, it cultivated a cozy space for people who genuinely care. Which in the end, is the most important part of life. Sharing moments with kind souls.

There’s always a special place in my heart for authentic collaborations. Please feel free to contact me with your ideas, I’d love to hear them!
